LUSID CATERING HSE Department shall ensure a continuous Identification of all hazards, put in measures to affect their controls, and develop procedures that will ensure the minimization of all these hazards. To execute projects and operations in such a way that the safety of its employee and that of others who may be affected are safeguarded.
We recognize our responsibility as to provide a healthful working condition for our employees, to this end, every health hazards will also be identified, monitored and controlled. All workers shall be certified fit, medically, mentally and physically before employment and annual medical test will be carried out always.
We are fully committed to maintain excellent rapport with all communities where our operations are based. To this end we shall have community liaison officers who shall be a contact point between the community and our public affairs department.
We shall also provide adequate security measures to all employees while on company duties, and protect all facilities while at the same time increase their awareness on security matters. Complete cooperation with this vital program is expected of everyone. Disregard to this objective will not be tolerated and will be regarded as gross misconduct.
LUSID CATERING, values all employees and their property, and expected that employees in turn value the company and its assets. Therefore, we will Tolerate no employee theft, or stealing of any kind, including fraudulent time card reporting. That include theft of money, information, products, inventory, tools or any item , information or idea that belong to the company or to an employee, customer or business partner of the company.
As such, we expect all incident of employee theft to be reported immediately to your supervisor or Hr representative, along with any data of information you have observed or obtained. We further retain the right to use video cameras and audio recording methods as well as software to identify and detect employee theft.
Below are examples of types of theft, to illustrate prohibited behavior:
Employee caught breaking any state or federal law, including employee theft of private or company property or falsifying timekeeping records will be terminated with no warning given.
In addition, a police report may be filled, as well as a potential lawsuit against the employee with a request for restitution of funds or products, inventory or assets.
To prevent employee from false accusations, we will investigate all claims of theft or employee stealing and discipline any employee making a false accusation.
All staff of LUSID CATERING shall be medically fit and remain fit throughout their employment.
Pre-employment medical fitness tests shall be conducted prior to job placement and the result shall be kept at the medical records unit of the company.
We shall maintain an insurance against any liability that may result in the event of any personnel suffering occupational diseases or any impairment to health resulting from our operation.
The company’s retainer-ship clinic shall handle all routine medical emergencies. Only certified and competent site personnel can man the first aid box and administer first aid at any operational areas.
Records of medications administered or injuries incurred MUST be kept at site and base office.
No employee shall be posted to a job where his/her present health status could be compromised or aggravated. Every job shall be fitted both ergonomically and psychologically to the employee.
LUSID CATERING has it as a policy and function to manage security affairs as an integral part of its overall HSE program and indeed part of the company’s business so as to minimize the number of security related incidents for all staff, clients and third party personnel involved in her operations.
To ensure the implementation of this policy, the company shall engage adequate number of trained security personnel. The company shall engage a chief security officer (CSO) as middle management personnel who would organize, co-ordinate and implement all the company’s security ideals and programs. All incidents shall be reported to client and the police.
At project locations, local security men shall be used to protect the company’s equipment and facilities in a bid to forge good rapport between the company and host community. Essential work gadgets such as mobile radios, torches, uniforms, Rain-coats, shall be provided to enhance their services.
Security policy must be reviewed in site/management HSE meetings. Security training/drills shall be conducted for increased security awareness.
The chief security officer (reports to the HSE manager) shall be the focal point and act in concert with relevant departments in the realization of security.
